This time last week, we had the privilege of playing for the TAB Racing board - and WOW do they know how to get fired up and rowdy! The 70's themed party took place at the gorgeous Wellesley Boutique Hotel on McGinnity St in Wellington - there’s a majestic, Victorian type of atmosphere inside that makes you stand up tall and push your chest out as you sashay around the interior. Thanks to Hayden and his team from the Wellesley who looked out for us and kept us hydrated :) But our gracious hosts? Their energy and joyous vibe was infectious and had us pumping the whole night - there was an especially rousing speech made from one of the “higher ups” that had Sarah and I so amped up we probably would’ve started working for them right there and then if they asked us to :D From Sarah, Awan, Ross and Me (Lis) at Coverstory, thank you NZ Racing Board for having us - we felt totally privileged to be at your event. We’ll be remembering this night of 70's nostalgia, and non-stop dancing as one of our absolute favourites! xo
